Whats happening this Autumn and New Year at The York Priory England

Just wanted to welcome all our friends and customers old and new, to our seasonal update, we want to let you know what's been happening recently at The York Priory.

We have relaunched our bar, and now stock a wide variety of beverages. Becks Vier and Boddingtons are on draught, bottled and canned drinks Budweiser, Peroni, Bulmers (various flavours), Guinness and many more.  We have a new selection of  Red, White and Rose wines and spirits on offer and plenty of soft drinks too!! (J20, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Tango etc. Between the hours of 11am until 7pm we are introducing a daytime snack menu, which will offer lite bites to the hungry traveller.

During the summer months we have started to include tap filtered bottled water in the bedrooms and for the light sleepers complimentary earplugs can be requested from reception.

From the 30 September 2013, Sky Sports will be available in The York Priory Bar, Yey !!!!!  This will be a nice surprise for our sport orientated customers, who would prefer to just sit and chill instead of the sightseeing and shopping that York is famous for.  Lee our bar and entertainment manager, will be looking forward to entertaining you there, being a local lad (and a loyal York City fan) he will enjoy exchanging football banter and yarns.

Also from 30 September 2013,  ALL Superior Bedrooms will have the full sky home package including movies (excluding Sky Sports). This tv package will also be available in Room 201 adjoining family room, in the main bedroom only. The rest of the bedrooms will still have the standard freeview package.

Due to high volume of enquiries, for the very FIRST TIME The York Priory have decided to open our doors to guests, from 27 December 2013 and will stay open until New Years Eve (we will be closed on New Years Day). We are going to have a guest and family party on the 31 Dec 13, to see in new 2014!!  All our guest that book for these dates are welcome to join us celebrating the end of 2013 and start of 2014. There will be a finger buffet and snacks, music and perhaps some games etc. The bar will stay open until the early hours.  However, we do intend to serve breakfast a little later on New Years Day, it will be served the between 9.30 am and 10.30 am, Do not be disappointed, book now, please call 01904 819022 or enquire at reception about the availability of accommodation for New Year's Eve, we would love to share it with you.
